Taking a break
...from feverishly deep organizing. I have met so much dust that I feel I need to dust my face. I suppose a washcloth would work better.
I moved some things today that I don't think have been touched in a year or four. Summer is a great time for me to buckle down and do some of those tasks that are low-priority and low-appeal, but high-satisfaction. Such as attacking the various junk piles around the house. My bedside table's bottom shelf (wow, I didn't know all that stuff was sitting down there). My kids' shelves (piled with various stuff, unidentifiable until you take it all off the shelf). The top of the bookshelf in our bedroom (yet another junk repository). It just looks so tidy and open when I'm done getting rid of all those unnecessary items which reproduced all year.
Another thing I'm enjoying this week is composing photo albums/scrapbooks. Just got my latest shipment from Shutterfly, so I can now complete the 2003 family album, and get started on 2004. After I get all this dust shaken off...
