Gold Medal

Julie's comment on my last post made me smile. She is very creative, too. Be sure to notice the special feature of her poem...

Meanwhile, my husband gets the Gold Medal for Spousal Stress Relief in our household olympics...he took the kids out for dinner (to a buffet-type restaurant where they both actually eat vegetables and soup) and enabled me to sit at my desk and wade through those piles of papers and varied objects of June, July and August vintage. I can see the wood of the desk now! It's very encouraging. I feel better about starting the week.

Thanks, my love!

You're welcome! Glad it helped. I could tell it was needed, even without reading your 'stress' blog entry :-) After eleven years...

And I forgot to tell you - E ate about 10 times her normal amount of vegetables, (not that that's a huge serving though) and then didn't even want dessert. Well, until I had some, and she nibbled on mine a little. Amazing. A worthwhile trip for all.
