thankful for life
aware of health
appreciating safety
hugging family
life is precious
life is short
life is precarious
life cannot be controlled
every moment counts
we don't know how long we have
we can't waste the days
it may be today
God, grant the families transcending peace
fill the rescuers with energy
give the doctors wisdom
flood us with hope and trust
You know
You care
You plan
You are
let us turn on our knees to You

This posting has reminded me of how precious each moment is, and I have asked God especially today to help me plan and use each moment He gives me. Your father had so much trouble breathing in his last days, I recall being very aware of breath then.
I loved every mninute of your visit!
