Lots of Babies

My husband has a most remarkable extended family. Yesterday his aunt became a grandmother...for the 28th time. She started out, as one would have to, by having seven children (neatly arranged in order as girl, boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl). Then they grew up, got married, and started having children of their own. As you may have calculated, they have now tidily averaged four children each. Most of them actually have exactly the average number, but one has just one, one has three, and one makes up for those two by having eight (six boys followed by twin girls). There is certainly no lack of cousins to play with in their family network up there in Wisconsin!

Anyway, congratulations to the mom who had her fourth girl yesterday!
