Loved this statement, found at Cow Pi Quotes:

I liked it for several reasons:

1. I like that he's been married 20 years to the same woman.
2. I like that he's actively working on learning what she wants (at all and still).
3. I like the humility that is shown by "starting to scratch the surface." He isn't claiming to have it all figured out.
3. I enjoyed the movie to which he's referring.
4. I have a good memory of seeing it with my beloved husband of almost 12 years, on a blessed Christmas Night a few years ago, when my mother, mother-in-law, grandmother AND stepfather all watched the kids for us so we could go on a date on that great day of the year.
5. I like chocolate. :-)
6. I like conversation.

I would also add that women (ones like me anyway) want one man to be singlemindedly devoted to them, to tenderly cherish them and to want them, for life. So far, so good, David - only 70 years to go! :-*
