Christmas Stamp Collages

We are blessed to receive a lot of Christmas cards.


I like collecting, organizing, and sorting stuff. And preserving information. Ever since we married in 1993, I've looked over the stamps arriving on Christmas cards (or other stuff in the month of December), taken a sampling, and made a collage with them. This year I thought to take photographs of the collages for the first time.

I was going to include all twelve that I've made so far in one post, but it's proving to be too many photos in one post, so I'm going to break it up. Here are the first five:

Wow, after finding some ideas in a Martha Stewart kid's magazine, I was thinking of doing something similiar. My stamps are still on envelopes and stuffed in an envelope in the closet! I remembered you kept cards but I didn't remember that you also did art with the stamps - that's fun!
