Would really like to be a blogger
Oh look, I have a web log! All I have to do is type into this window and hit "save" and voilà, a blog post!
It's just that I have hundreds of other more urgent matters to attend to.
Like the feet of stuff on my desk (God truly knows what all is in there, but I don't). And the pages of items on my to do list (ditto).
I would like to tell you all about last week's trip to Normandy (with photos of Omaha Beach, Juno Beach, Mont-Saint-Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry and Cathedral), but....oh look, my thirty seconds for the day are up.

And I am eagerly awaiting to hear about it all....but your David's mom is coming in less than a week, and the guest room looks like your office sounds! Mainly because I moved my office upstairs, and for once, the laundry room is pristine (except for the laundry, which I am folding!) And so it goes! I love you! Mom

Thanks for the postcard, the boys loved to see it and I have always been intrigued with it--the tides and all are fascinating.
Just found out today there's an exhibit in Atlanta from the Louvre (thought of you), so I'll have to post pics if we get to go...we keep learning about all the fabulous Brits who got all this cool archaeology going and havent' been able to find many Egyptian exhibits anywhere. But now there's something new to check out.
Plus check in with cousins there :-)

Oh I can't wait to hear about Normandy! Don't know if you can do that in 30 seconds, eh?
