Swiss September Flowers in My Garden

And this is the mountain view we glimpse from the top of our village on very clear days. Which don't seem to happen too often, but when they come around, what a reward for waiting out the grey days. And now Autumn is upon us...some beautiful foliage coming up.

That's a splendid blue flower, whatever it is.

How lovely is thy dwelling place! Can hardly wait to see it for myself. The gray days remind me of the times we waited to glimpse the Mt.Blanc in Geneva! Love you...Mom...raining here in VA, but we need it!

I'm so surprised to see the pink hydrangea blooms in the fall in Switzerland! Here in Japan it is a June flower, peaking around the peak of the rainy season, which unfortunately, makes me feel that hydrangeas are the harbingers of gloom. If they bloomed in the lovely Japanese autumn, I would like them a lot better! Love to keep up with everything you are doing in Europe. Glad you have made so many friends so quickly.
