South African Cheetah

I'm sharing the cheetah photos directly after the leopard photos so you can notice the difference: leopards have "rosettes" and cheetahs have "spots." But the easiest way to notice which one it is (for me) is that cheetahs have a black line down each of their cheeks. The lines are called "tearmarks" (tear as in crying, not as in ripping). Take a look.

See the "tearmarks" on his cheek?

Good camouflage colors

Even just before the rainy season, there was still some greenery

David and Jason took some great photos!
