South African Leopards
I would have to say that the five different leopards we saw in South Africa were the most stunningly beautiful creatures of all the sightings. Chapeau to God on the design of their coat and powerful sleekness of their body. We saw a mother with two cubs, an adult male, and an adolescent female. David and Jason took all the good photos with David's big new camera. I took some dinky little photos for fun with my camera. Probably all the photos I will share were taken by David and Jason. Thanks, guys!
Leopard tracks, as spotted by our trackers Tyrone and Patrick, and photographed by Jason (this one is an adult female)
David and Emily watch the walking male leopard
An adolescent female leopard lounges in a tree
Male leopard resting after a double kill (kudu and impala - we saw the evidence)
Leopard cubs at rest
Male leopard atop a termite mound as a vantage point
What a beautiful animal God made!
